Boring
Having used Reader Rabbit in the ’90’s and early 2000’s, the graphics seemed better then and the audio as well. I was able to keep my child interested in the old version, which for some reason I was hoping was still available. This new version is slow and boring. Be aware that the graphics are amateurish, music is dull and stories are lack luster. If all you want is strict educational, it will serve the purpose with matching, colors, numbers and shapes. I hope I can get a refund. It would have been nice to have be able to play around with a demo first. Also! The Support Center IS NOT IN ENGLISH NOR IS THERE A WAY TO CHANGE THE CENTER TO ENGLISH. I DON’T SPEAK READ OR WRITE SCANDINAVIAN!

Description of Reader Rabbit
One of The Learning Company's early edutainment classics, Reader Rabbit is a fun and timeless game designed to teach 3-7 kids reading and spelling skills.
There are four different word games to play in the order of increasing difficulty: a word sorter, a picture labeler, the word train, and a variant of the memory game. All four games are very accessible, with pleasant graphics and just the right difficulty level to encourage kids to play more.
If you are looking for a fun language game to teach your kids basic reading and spelling skills (if they are already good at recognizing the alphabets), you would be hard pressed to find a much better program than Reader Rabbit - truly a wonderful edutainment program that is still as much fun today as it was in 1989. Highly recommended!

Can't get past the mount screen. I also would like the 1991 remake of this game.

Hm.. not able to install getting this message: 'The INSTALL program cannot be run from this disk. See Appendix A in the User's Guide for further instructions'
Lightsaber quiz. I'm using Dosbox 0.74, Reader Rabbit is on DosBox.com compatible list, so it should work. Am I missing anything like a patch or user's guide?
