ONI Station Delphi is a highly secret facility within Section Three of ONI. It is located in Groombridge 34, a binary star system, 11.62 lightyears from Earth.
History
Station Delphi was a deep space UNSC shipyard and construction platform. It is similar to Anchor 9 in orbit of Reach. The station was decommissioned in 2528 and abandoned near the Groombridge 34 System. Due to poor maintenance, the platform was a mess by 2531. That year, ONI arranged for the Spartan-IIs to be sent on a mission to the station to check for any 'rebel activity'. This was actually a disguise for them to abduct Spartan-051 for use in the upcoming Spartan-III project. After he was taken, the station was tagged with a HAZNAV satellite to ward off future exploration of it. This was a clever ONI trick, as the station was reassigned to house the most secret project by ONI uptil now: Stealth ships.

Purpose
The station was refitted to perform maintenance on the ships above, and even create new ones. The personnel on this station are the best of the best. The station has several other stations linked to it, mainly manufacturing stations that are spreaded across the system to covertly produce materials and other requirements without drawing too much attention to the station. There are cargo ships that ferry supplies between the stations. The station has several 'plates' with docking/repair arms, like the ones found by Anchor 9.
